I have been practising Arboriculture and Tree Surgery for over 10 years and have built up my experience as an Arborist working within various specialisms within the Arboriculture and Forestry sectors. I am been a qualified Lantra Awards instructor and City & Guilds NPTC assessor. I completed a Foundation Degree in Arboriculture in 2009 and have gained several years of consultancy experience. My hobbies include Kayak fishing, Djing, wood carving, field sports and spending time with my family.
I joined BVT in March 2015 following a years’ maternity leave. It has been great learning the ropes and meeting new and interesting people along the way. My current role as Centre Manager involves being your first point of contact when ringing the office, organizing training and liasing with clients. My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, and i am also a bit of a foodie so enjoy going out for dinner as much as possible.
I have been involved with trees and woodlands most of my working life starting in a tree nursery at the age of 15 going into consultancy, lecturing and surveying. I hold qualifications in arboriculture, horticulture and the LANTRA Professional Tree Inspectors Certificate to name but a few.
My role here is to manage the tree team working alongside Dane in prestigious places such as Stowe Gardens for the National Trust. I am a qualified arboricultural surveyor and can produce reports from very basic condition up to BS: 5837:2012 specification reports.
My other passion is music so when I’m not in the woods, teaching or scrutinising trees somewhere I can be found on stage with one of my two bands.
